KitchenCog
How we review
Start with the job the product must do. Compare the exact model or version, practical limits and ongoing costs, then explain who it suits, who should skip it and what the available evidence cannot establish.
What we compare
For readers comparing alternatives before a purchase, with different budgets, spaces and everyday requirements.
Fit
How many people it cooks for, the counter space it needs and what your kitchen has to offer, such as an induction hob.
Real cost
The price plus pods, filters, descaler and replacement parts you will keep buying.
Everyday cleaning
Which parts are dishwasher-safe, which must be washed by hand and how often it needs descaling.
Safety features
Automatic shut-off, hot surfaces, cord length and the manufacturer’s warnings.
Noise and speed
How loud it is and how long a typical task takes, according to the manufacturer and independent tests.
Sources & evidence
Product facts are checked against the exact model or software version in manufacturer documentation, manuals, plan terms and retailer listings. Each article identifies its sources and verification date. A retailer claim, an independent measurement and our interpretation are different kinds of evidence.
Research, estimates and actual testing
Research-based guides do not imply hands-on testing. An actual test must describe what was done, the version or model, conditions and date. Calculations state their assumptions; missing measurements stay unknown.
What the images show
Photos, licensed reference images, diagrams and AI illustrations are labelled by type and source. An AI illustration may be reconstructed from a specified product reference; it is not a product photograph, a measured result or evidence that we tested the item. Check the exact model in the linked source before buying.
How this site is funded
Paid links are labelled and explained in our commercial disclosure. Check the evidence and limitations of a recommendation alongside any commercial relationship.
How this site is fundedUpdates & corrections
Product details, plans and availability can change. Consult the verification and revision dates on each article. To report an error, send the article URL, the exact model or version and a supporting source. We review that evidence before correcting a published guide.
